Jasper, wilderness

Escapando el finde this time went far north in Alberta , to Jasper National Park well known for being the best place in the world for ice climbing and also for wildlife out there. This trip runs along one of the most beautiful roads in the world 93, between Banff and Jasper.

Escapando el finde with Carla, Juli, Dorota y Daniel ( The Matracas ) went for a short two days camping trip to Jasper 5 hours north from Calgary. The first day we went for two easy hikes, one to se the water falls and late in the afternoon to Bald Hill the best viewpoint to look the Maligne Lake, the light this day was fantastic to take pictures.

The second day , after a nice camping in Whistler campground we went for another two nice hikes, the 1º to see the spectacular glacier of the Mount Edith Cavell and the Cavell Lake with that crazy emerald colour. After that and on our way to Calgary we made another easy a nice trekking, Wilcox Pass ,excellent for a hot day ( because part is in shadow) with beautiful views of the Athabasca Glacier.

Check the pictures and you will see bear, deers, goat, etc.
